One Journey, Many Voices: Conversations About Serious Illness and Dying
The Greater Washington Partnership collaborated with AARP in producing "One Journey, Many Voices," a thirty-minute video offering a rich and diverse range of perspectives on serious illness and dying. In the video, community members from many different backgrounds (patients, family members, and healthcare professionals), as well as many different cultures and ethnicities, share their unique life experiences, values, and beliefs on advance care planning, end-of-life treatment preferences, and bereavement. The stories and testimony recorded here provide a framework for discussing sensitive end-of-life issues with many different audiences, including your professional colleagues, your church group, and even your family.
