The Greater Washington Partnership for Palliative and End-of-Life Care

The Greater Washington Partnership for Palliative and End-of-Life Care was
created to advocate for systemic and sustained reform of care for persons facing
serious illness and raise awareness of how palliative care improves patients' and
families' quality of life. Through the dedication of our supporters, the GWP continues
to offer a voice for access to excellent care that meets Washington's diverse needs.

Excellence to honor new and established palliative care programs. Convene
community in support of palliative care at Awards Gala.

profession-specific educational programs to increase the knowledge and skill of
all types of health care professionals in providing palliative and end-of-life care
to diverse populations.

end-of-life care. Educate DC communities through messenger groups and
