Palliative Care Awards
The Greater Washington Partnership for Palliative and End-of-Life Care has
coordinated the annual
CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield Palliative Care
Awards
since their establishment in 2006.  In 2006, 2007, and 2008 the
Outstanding and New Palliative Care Awards recognized palliative care
service providers throughout the Greater Metropolitan area.  In 2007 and
2008, the
Award for Media Excellence honored media coverage that
substantially increased awareness of palliative care in our community.
